"Free, pretty, great cell signal"

Ski resort allows overnight parking in one of the lots. Dog friendly. Not paved, no shade. Must be self sustaining, no water/dump/bathrooms/etc. Fellow campers were all friendly. Impossible to put a stake in the ground

"Friendly and clean and excellent wifi"

Super friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms and laundry. Strong wifi. Sites are close together but I'm glad because it made room for us to stay.

"Drove in, drove out."

Pulled in after dark looking for a stopover spot. Bathrooms looked like prison and not clean and no hot water at sinks. Vibe was super sketchy. Didn't stay. Drove on.

"Absolutely NO hot water"

Zip, zero, zilch hot water in the women's bathroom. It was a clean facility but I'd rather have a hot shower than a clean cold shower.

"Conveniently close to town but helicopters all day"

So close to town that you can walk in for a pitcher of beer at Plaza Bonita. Great cell reception at top of the hill. Lots of helicopters during the day are loud and so close that you feel exposed going to the bathroom outside while they fly over.... Read more
