"Quiet and convenient!"

Very convenient to Furnace Creek. Paved road to gravel sites. Lower loop is tent-only. No generators allowed, so very quiet at night. No hookups. Water and dump station are available. Clean facilities and nice view.

"Very clean and new."

Best shower and laundry facilities I've encountered. Easy highway access and friendly staff. Gravel pads in a wide open field, but that's the nature of North Texas. Excellent hookups and wifi.

"Wonderful stay"

Very nice state park campground. Sites well spaced and grass‐covered. Most sites shaded. Many level, but some just moderately sloped. Absolutely worth the short detour off I70.

"Nice setting and convenient"

Stayed for 1 very warm evening. 30 amp and A/C did the trick! Nice lake, but rocky coastline makes access tricky. Clean bathrooms and showers. Bring your leveling blocks - most sites near the water are sloped.

"Very Nice Experience"

This campground is very well maintained. Pretty setting with hiking trails and lake access. Good space between sites. Elevation is over 6,000 ft. Would stay again. Great Verizon service.

"Well run, clean and close to town."

This KOA is very nice. Most sites are in trees. Showers were clean. Staff very nice and plenty of them. Plenty of Verizon bars, but campground also has wifi. It's busy, but just off HWY 40 & 66, so to be expected. Power connections at most... Read more

"Easy access boondocking"

Dirt road access, but well graded and flat. Probably two dozen or so easy access sites. Some ATVs during the day, but quiet at night. Mostly pine-covered. Decent Verizon coverage.

"Small, but nice and convenient"

Nice campground with about 18 sites. First-come, first-served. Got lucky and grabbed an open site on a holiday weekend. Sites further back are quieter.
