"simple & free!"

I called ahead for my reservation & permit by phone and it was easy. I stayed five nights, camped in my van: they had me in a gravel lot for the overnights, which was fine but nothing special, no facilities and not much shade. But for the daytimes... Read more

"quiet, no-frills"

Off-season, mid-February, there were only a few other campers, so plenty of room to space out for privacy. I did have a dog walker come upon me in the morning but he was friendly enough. Great views lakeside. No amenities of any kind, but quiet... Read more

~$21/night for an improved tent site is a bit steep in my book, but they are nice sites, right on the water, and the bathhouse is nice and appears to be cleaned daily - individual lockable toilet-and-shower rooms are pretty comfortable. trails for... Read more

"spendy for van/tent camping, but nice amenities"

I was having trouble finding alternatives, and needed the shower and laundry, so I sprung for this - it was way more than I wanted to spend for van camping ($31 and change with fees), but the bathhouse was very nice and clean, and coin-op laundry... Read more

"bit noisy but fine"

It's true that there's noise from the bridge, but it didn't bother me sleeping. I sleep with white noise anyway. Scenic with the water and boat traffic. Not exactly remote, but fine.
