We tried to stay here but lot 4 was closed. Lot 1 has tons of campers but all was parked in a designated sites # so we assumed it is not free.

"A great stop over at gtnp"
We stayed here mid week and the camp wasnt full. We didn’t try to get to shadow mt because of the road so we decided to stay here. Peaceful and quiet. Great sunrise and sunset. No att cell service.

We camped here mid week and by 4pm campground was full. Not really a big rig friendly and our site was uneven. Less crowded than mammoth and less privacy too. Still a great base camp when exploring ynp. No att cell service

"Peaceful quiet great view"
We stayed here after several day exploring YNP. Close to main highway but you will not hear traffic. Road going to is gravel and a little rough but doable even on big rigs. We stayed mid week so not much party goers. No att cell service

We enjoyed staying here even for just 1 night! Very peaceful and quiet. So close to the gc lodge. It had 6in of snow when we got there so much much less crowd. No cell service, very slow wifi in the campground store.

"Lovely and peaceful place to spend the night"
A small lake with boat lunch. We camp beside the lake. Beautiful view of glacier/waterton and sunrise/sunset. First come first serve only. Might get too windy. Canadian cell coverage good.
