"Easy Accessibility From I-10"

Went about 3/4 mile in. Saw several rigs parked in side roads, vans and 20’ bumper pulls. We found a spot on the right by a USGS monitoring point. Plenty of room for our 37’ fifth wheel to turn around.

"Quiet and safe"

Very quiet and clean FamCamp. Didn't realize it was bookable so only got to stay 7 days rather than 14. As previous reviewers have said the sewer hookup is uphill which is a gravity challenge but to insurmountable. Check in is in the Billeting... Read more

"Friendly Staff Sites Challenging For Big Rig"

Provincial campground was closed due to wildfires several years ago (not listed on website) and took a chance after 400 miles of driving. Narrow roads with low overhanging trees lead me to believe they’re either not ready for big rigs or don’t... Read more

"Safe and off the road"

Expensive but worth the safe full hook up spot.

"I love this place"

One of my most favorite places on the Alcan. The beach is so peaceful and pristine. Sites can be challenging to get into due to low and abundant trees, and like a lot of the provincial parks the easy access sites fill up early in the... Read more

"Lucky to have stopped here!"

The owner, Bill is a rockstar. I stopped at the Fas Gas to ask for help in changing a tire and it turned out I had actually broken a leaf spring hanger. Bill went above and beyond to get me back on the road - he found a welder to come out and... Read more

Look for the massive Canadian flag as the indication of where to turn off Hwy 97 Stayed here several times on my way to and from Alaska. Level and clean sites. Friendly and informative hosts. Only issue I have ever had is the 30amp breakers... Read more

"Flat and Free"

Easy access from Hwy 97 for a free overnight stay, no check in required. Several big rigs already parked and not running (which is a massive plus). Safe but not quiet as there's a lot of road noise but beggars can't be choosers! Lot's of food... Read more

"Dusty With Lots Of OHV traffic"

Slopes uphill from road. Rocky. Dusty. Lots of OHV traffic. Must get a permit for $20, Sheriff comes through once a week and kicks people out that don’t get it. A bit of trash but not too bad. Close to town.
