Little shade. AFB was loud. Outhouse was decent.

This smooth road has plenty of good campsites. It's close to Hwy 97, but you can get far enough away so you barely hear it. Very good access to Lava River Cave and Newberry National Volcanic Monument.

Small but clean. Good toilets and lots of shade in camp. Parked in the day use lot. Good road to get there. Large picnic tables. Quiet.

It was at 7500 ft so nice and cool. Great view of the mountains and easy to access trails. Downside was the noise from the road next to camp. It subsided after dark. There was a fee if you didn't have a Nat'l park pass.

Lots of room. No view but you are by the river. Tables and toilets provided. Seems pretty quiet. No water.
