Easy access down gravel road. Lots of spread out sites in wide open flat area. Great sunrise & sunset. Some noise from the interstate but sure beats noise of crowds in Moab. Only three other rigs we could see spread out over a distance on the...
Cute little basic campground right next to road (probably not traveled much at night). We drove through & camped elsewhere. Restrooms were decent, a few scattered trees over picnic tables. Good access to Moab & areas. Apparently we visited during...
Beautiful drive past a few paid campgrounds right on the road. When we got to the site it was apparent that someone worked very hard to limit access to previously used sites (dug trenches, newly moved large rocks to block paths). There were one or...
Biggest BLM site we’ve been to & about 90% full when we pulled in late Thursday afternoon mid-October. Moab & surrounding areas are booming! Easy access, clean toilets (no toilet paper though!), beautiful open skies & green cliffs.

Easy access from Southern Canyonlands entrance up Blue Mountain paved roads with signs to Foy Lake. Coming in from Monticello we passed many other boondocking sites. Pulled into this site late afternoon on a Wednesday to find two other campers...
$30 entrance fee good for 1-7 days or free with annual national parks pass ($80). $14/night (we didn’t see any enforcement once you pass entry gate). Great spot, little tricky to navigate sand to get here. Busy even on Sunday/Monday night in fall....
There are a handful of sites available at the start of an OHV site called Logandale Trails. It’s about a two mile drive up a decent gravel road once you leave pavement until you get to the vault toilet (brand new). Although the closest gas station...
Easy sites to access & convenient to Zion. No services & river was pretty much dried up when we visited Oct 1 but it was nice to have some shade. Plenty of spots available when we pulled up late afternoon on a Tuesday but it filled up pretty well...
Drove about 2 miles in until we found the road impassable (& had quiet the time backing our van back up a steep rock hill- scout ahead!). These sites are very spread out. We found two together right at the entrance, another group of maybe 4 sites...
The one hour drive from Zion was frequently steep but paved until you get to the reservoir. You approach from the south & there is a road that circles the reservoir. We drove counterclockwise on the dusty, bumpy but very passable road about 3/4 of...
