"Pricey but superb location!"

For us this RV Park was a bit pricey compared to other options out west however the location was pretty perfect. As others mentioned, proximity to Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Page etc is hard to beat. The park is very large! Amenities were... Read more

"Nice desolate campground "

They have two main loops, one that accepts reservations ahead of time and another that is on a first come first serve basis. The campground fills up quickly including first come first serve, I would recommend arriving before 10am to find a walk up... Read more

"Nice spot to explore caves and southern AZ wine country"

Campground was pretty empty when we visited in December (we had snow both nights) so it was extremely quiet and peaceful. Spaces are not very private but each have plenty of room to spread out. There are several walking trails that begin right... Read more

"Great hub for exploring Chiricahua the old mining town of Bisbee, AZ"

We lucked out and snagged site #6 because as others have mentioned there are two large washes that you have to drive through if you want a spot other than 1-6. We might have been fine but didn't want to risk it. We actually had snow when we were... Read more

We loved this park for its location to hikes and open space. Camp hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. Sites do not offer too much privacy but all are relatively large and offer great mountain views. Make sure to bike the property, hike to... Read more

"Great location to Brevard and Asheville. Right near the blue ridge parkway"

We did not make reservations and found a handful of open walk up spaces when we arrived. Most walk up sites seem to be in the full hookup loop, maybe only one or two where in the electric/water hookup loop. We tried to call ahead and check walk in... Read more

"Great jumping off point for downtown Greenville and South Carolina Mtns! "

We exerted our stay a few nights and that still wasn't enough time at this park. The visitors center is very nice with Adirondack chairs overlooking a small lake out back. The trail system is perfect for an evening or morning stroll. Sites are not... Read more
