"Quiet, free, and great views"

I drove along the gravel road to site #7, which is pretty far from the entrance. There were 4 picnic tables and fire rings, and a pit toilet. I had the place to myself. You can set up a chair right at the banks of the Green River and watch... Read more

"Wish I could keep this place unknown "

Indian Bread Rocks is close, but not too close, to I-10. It’s BLM and heavily cattled (cowpies everywhere and sweet cows and calves once in awhile). And it’s beautiful! The road leads to a picnic ground with trash receptacles and parking for... Read more

"A birder’s paradise "

Bonita campground has flush toilets, grill stands, and bear boxes. It’s well wooded, but the sites are close, and if you have neighbors who delight in screaming at each other and thinking they own the universe, there’s no escape. Except there is... Read more

"Quiet, peaceful and close to Phoenix "

I had driven several hours and needed to stop for the sake of my back. I’m so glad I chanced upon this campground in Cave Creek. The sites are cleaned and raked(!) between visitors. There is water and electricity, and several very clean bathhouses... Read more

"Easy place to pull off I-10. "

This was my first visit to a private RV Park, and I only did it because it was Easter weekend and parks were full. I’m using the laundry now ($1.25 wash, $2.00 dry), and it’s fine. There is a nice pool and many children at play. The few trees do... Read more

"Free just off I-10. Woods, swamp, playgrounds. "

High winds forced me off I-10 with no place to go. Found this county park and stayed the night for free. I was the only one there. Yes of course you can hear I-10, it’s very close. Boondocking only.

"Safe, clean, and quiet"

Easy to find. Clean modern bathhouse in Magnolia 1 loop. Very quiet in January. Soft sand trails through palmetto and hickory forest, with sinkholes here and there. Pretty part of the Suwannee river. I used a cell signal booster to get 2 bars of... Read more
