"Confusing because you'll see signs that read "no camping" and signs that say no stays over a 24 hour period. "

We stayed the night with no issues other than loud trucks. Definitely no water to be had from a dispenser that could fill a water jug but there was an operational dump with flush water. The internet was slamming.

"The dump is free but the 7 day pass cost $20 which authorizes you to be in Custer State Park using the dump."

You can drive through this park, no pass or fee required, and enjoy the sites. You just can't stop and use any of the amenities without the pass. The dump is just off Wildlife Loop about a 1k feet on the right just as you turn off 16A East. Easy... Read more
