Open in the winter however the restrooms are closed. Only one other camper was there and we got a spot at 7pm but it was Thanksgiving.
Pretty quiet other than a train at 4am but not super loud.

This is such a pretty spot. There is some road noise but not really bothersome.
Nice larger sites. Only loop D is open in winter.
Bathrooms and showers were closed in Loop D which was very inconvenient. Only one pit toilet open and that was in...

Winter camping so we were able to get a spot on a Sunday night at 3pm. Showers were open .50 for 3 mins and the laundry area is nice. No soap in the bathrooms which is odd. Lots of deer visited us. Overall a good place to stop over.

It is quite a ways from the interstate. Still free with donations appreciated. Only one other camper there on a Saturday night in Nov. The park is next to train tracks but there were no trains going by.
Road noise quiets down at night. It was...

Came in at 8:00pm on a Saturday night. Homeless people who appeared drunk or on drugs were hanging around. Vehicles kept driving thru the camping area. No one was actually camping there. Did not seem like a good place so we left.

Nice simple camping outside of the bustle of Durango. Yes the road is washboard but doable. Quiet large sites. Host is great. Still a few sites open on a Friday night. My favorite kind of camping.
Nightly Rate: $35.00
We arrived at 8:30pm on a Thursday night and there’s were plenty of open spots. After hours you can take an open spot and pay in the box. There are 3 campgrounds we stayed in the Quail loop. Nice bathrooms with free hot showers. Fairly quiet with...

Great access to the park. You have to drive the Old Fall River Road. Unless you are scared of heights and drop offs and amazing views.
Bathrooms are brand new and clean.

We don’t usually stay in RV parks but due to the incoming hurricane Hilary and the need for showers, laundry and a safe location near Vegas, we tried it.
Pleasantly surprised at the positive experience. Also they let us stay in our squaredrop...
