We’ve stayed here several times over the last 15 years. It never disappoints. Great hiking, good fishing, and spectacular scenery. The 9 mile drive up is terrible, however. If you have an RV, plan on almost an hour to get up those 9 miles.

Pros: great hiking trail. Good fishing. Lovely setting. Not a heavily used campground for camping.
Cons: A very long, dusty, Bumpy drive. Only a very few sites are big enuf for rigs over 25ft. Most won’t even handle that. Best for tents. A good...

The campground host was awesome. She checked on us but was not intrusive and she had helpful info. The place was immaculate. Most other reviews covered what a nice place this is with very spacious sites. Our price was for an electric and water...

We don’t generally like state parks, preferring more rustic camping, but this place is great. Nice, shady sites not crammed together. Good hiking for the pups. Very nice bathrooms and shower (free) facilities.

This place is FULL of sticker burrs. We have 3 dogs and they all stepped in those awful burrs too many times to count. And they got in the RV and embedded in rugs and blankets. It is a pretty area, there was water and vault toilets. Good cell with...

This is a good, very basic NFS campground. As other reviews have said, there are a very sites with very good privacy, but about 1/3 have no privacy at all. Just sites surrounding a big, open field. It is a lovely area. Narrow but mostly OK up to...

First off, let me say that I am not a state park campground person. I prefer more remote, national forest campgrounds. But this place is great! There are several different camping areas within the park. Some are the more "typical" state park type....
