Good for an overnight but be ready for freeway noise and frequent freight trains passing by. Also this campground is windy due to Gorge winds. Tent camping not desirable.

Sand Springs is a flat open area with no designated sites. No facilities, no pit toilets, no fire rings. Brush is cleared in this area to probably prevent fire risk. There is a Sand Springs campground sign but that's it. Great view of the stars... Read more
