Another great stay. Campsite by the creek. Was able to sit in the shade and listen to the water. Good weather and nice hike on the Stone Mountain loop.

April is a great time to camp. There are few bugs. Campground is not full. A quiet and peaceful place. A plus is the whippoorwill roosting in the live oaks with their nightly serenade. Yes it is a long drive to get there, but that is the OBX.
