Small, quaint, cute. Lots of shade, lots of privacy. Very short hiking trails, but very nice trails. Really big/old Oak tree.
Outstanding Florida State Park! Beautiful hiking, super scenic river, and an excellent smallish museum brilliantly curated. Almost a 2-hour drive north on I-75 but we will be back.
Booked and paid for a water FRONT site, got an obstructed-view water-view site. Extremely disappointed, this Park is obviously managed by crooks.
Partially paved single lane road in and out of tiny parking lot where you register at boat ramp, office, snack shop. Pull-thru site was so narrow driving thru was impossible. Had to reposition RV several times to ensure slides had clearance. Water...
Great site, lots of vegetation between most sites. Beautiful hiking! Many trails, one of which is a hike around a lake.
Very nice State Park! Horrible traffic getting there. Orlando avoided highway improvement for decades and now they’re doing it all at once. And it was Friday. And it was near rush hour.
Very beautiful, well-maintained. We quickly found the unofficial trail on the wrong side of the River (next to the campground) where we saw a gator!
Water spigot was 3” above the ground. Ordinarily I’d never consider returning but this State Park is so awesome we’ll be back soon and often. We saw deer and had a bright red cardinal visit our RV repeatedly. Our video is here:...
