The park is nice. Big rig friendly right on the river overlooking downtown to Little Rock. Follow the campground instructions for access as road construction is ongoing. Easy access to Clinton Library, Capitol, downtown. Quite for downtown.

The camping loop gets you off the highway as much as many campgrounds and it’s free. We felt safe. Opened slideouts on both sides. Ample space.

Staff helpful. Easy access. 45 minutes to downtown Denver. Reasonably quiet. Site’s adequate. Not many choices in metro area.

Like others have said, it’s an old, somewhat rundown campground. Getting into campground itself is a bit challenging for big rigs. Sites are narrow. Only 30 amp. Pool , laundry area looks good. Convenient to area. Way overpriced but this area is.

We’ve stayed here three times. Easy on off from I-10. Virtually no road noise. Beautiful setting on the bay. Sites are spacious. Big rig friendly.

Free FHU Big Rig friendly campground. Only eight spacious back in sites. Reservations through city website. Quiet, safe park. A gem in north Houston.

Definitely big rig friendly. Site 59 just fit my 40’ MH. Had shade trees on west side (one of the few sites with trees). Still had satellite. We toured Durango, Telluride and canyon of ancients from here. Helpful staff. Well maintained sites.
