Clean, large pull thrus and pretty cheap. Great place to spend the night right on Route 66.
We got 50 amp, but didn’t need sewer, so saved a couple of bucks there.
Good Mexican food close by as well
There are planes and trains.. not to noisy.. actually kind of cool background noise

Started with check in. Such a nice person. Sites are well laid out. Nice to have a picnic table provided. So few do. Would stay here again if passing through

Stayed here in a motorhome with 30 amp service and water. Site was level, clean but otherwise unremarkable. Easy access, not far from I40. Good spot for an overnight stay. Sites are gravel, most are pull through.
Park WiFi was good for light web browsing and email. Version LTE was S L O W at best.

Easy access. Staff was extremely helpful. Prices are good for the sites. 100 + sites . RV Dump available if needed. Fenced pet area. We stayed 2 nights. Pd $42 a night includes taxes and good Sams discount. Gravel sites. We had papered picnic table site, full hookups and cable. Internet ok most the time. Very windy. Desert all around. ... more

Stayed 5/3/17. The sites in the park are very close together. We needed a place to sleep and dump our tanks. This park fit the bill. The night was quiet and we were able to use the dump station on the way out. We would spend another overnight here.

We came to Gallup to explore the land of Tony Hillerman's novels. The Park is not too far off of I-40, access is easy, park is on route 66. Staff friendly. Laundry onsite. Playground for children if you happen to be traveling with any, there is a pool but it wasn't open yet. Never visited the restrooms, have no info on them. Park itself is clean enough, pretty bare. The roads are asphalt, the sites are red gravel. Water hookup was a little challenging, husband said it was a short-thread faucet so it took a little effort to get it hooked up so it didn't leak. It was a little noisier than we expected, the interstate was far enough away that the highway noise, especially at night, seemed more like a constant hum than a disturbance. Train tracks are just on the other side of a berm across highway 66. Heard trains, but did not hear whistles. Occasional throaty vehicle would roar by on highway. But we appear to be stone deaf in our old age, or our trailer is more noise proof than we knew, none of it disturbed our sleep.
The place seems to be a common one night stop for people. We were there for three nights and the neighbors to either side changed as many times. But the park felt safe enough. We would return if we were back in this area, although having explored the area already, it would likely be a one or two night stopover.

I don’t understand the person who thought the spaces were tight. Perhaps he never saw a campground set up so the sewer sides of the units faced each other. You don’t have to watch your neighbors dump their tanks next to your table while eating breakfast on a warm morning. It’s a great setup unappreciated by newbies. We had plenty of room to work on the hookup side. Then again, we hook up and level before the slides come out. Enjoyed the stay. Had a good night’s rest.

This is a shared post layout, so there isn’t enough room between the slideouts to dump tanks without waking up the neighbors. Take a back-in slot at the back fence — no one parks there! Convenient, but a whole mile from I-40, so noise isn’t an issue except the airport take offs and landings are right overhead. Dog park, paved roads, ... more

Very accommodating. Lots of spaces available. Super cute and USA themed. They have full hookups at the average going rate. Long Pull thru spots There is dog area that has a gate. Lots of poo inside the dog pen. I don't think others were being courteous about their own dog's waste. Overall a great stay.

Didn’t think anything of it. The young lady finishes checking me in, tells me my site number, shows me how to get to it, and tells me to have a good evening. I say thank you, and how much do I owe you? She said, oh you don’t ow anything military stays free! I was shocked! I thanked her and went on my way. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The staff was super friendly and it was an awesome overnight stop!
