Upper Green River Access Dispersed Camping

This location is considered Site #3 of the boondock campsites along the Green River. This site has the best access for pulling a trailer - sites #1 & #2 have very steep grades and I’m not sure with the loose gravel if you could pull a big trailer back up the hill. We have a 14,000lb. 5th wheel and I would not try the first two sites unless I had 4wd !! It says 1 campsite here ( site #3 ) but you certainly could get more than one into the large area - but there’s only one picknick table. The official BLM Campground across the Hwy has dump station and water - Pinedale has grocery, fuel, propane (Ace Hardware) and laundry. 7500’ elevation gives cool-er weather even in July and Always cool nights. Gravel road from Hwy is Very washboard ( I never ventured past site #3 because of this ) but a wide, decent gravel rd. so just take it Slow with washboard !!
