not sure if it’s due to the fires or due to the flooding but the gates were closed and it’s a mess 3 miles down the gravel road not that fun to find out that you have to turn around

Overall Rating
Most favorite spot for 20 Yrs. pit toilets only. No water, no trash. But there is a rest stop 3mi away. This year there are new metal fire rings, and bear boxes. Yes bears do come around from time to time. They seem to be easily chased off. The creek is stocked regularly when available. Camp spots are spacious and can usually hold several tents. Some sites can hold a small RV maybe 25 ft or so. I would walk the area first. Quiet and usually has a camp host. Sites are free. Most cells do work.
