“A beautiful and peaceful getaway”

Five stars here isn’t for having all the luxuries that some require in a campground. It’s for having all the requirements for those that really like getting away. Campground is in beautiful moss covered old growth trees surrounded by dense ferns right along side Clearwater River. Access is not bad compared to some of the other logging roads in the area. Would not try to bring anything more than a small RV though just because turning around would be tight. The road beyond the campground up to Yahoo Lake would not be good for anything less than a truck.

This five star rating is not for having a long list of resort like amenities. If you need those for a great camping trip, keep searching.
I’m giving five stars for being a truely awesome campground for having what is required for some real camping. If you want peace and solitude while tucked into an old growth rainforest surrounded by huge moss covered trees and dense ferns while you chill beside the campfire while watching the river tumble over the rocks, this place will check off all the boxes!
The campsites do have fire pits and picnic tables and there is a pit toilet on site. Road access is doable with a passenger car. Smaller RVs should be ok. Trucks only beyond the campground to Lake Yahoo though!
