“Hidden little place.”
We stayed here because the Roosevelt lake was too busy, it was Easter weekend and we didn’t think it will be THAT busy, we were wrong. We decided to drive past the dam and were rewarded with the beautiful view of the river.
We came here to kayak. The place has a small beach that was taken over by one large trailer, they parked it in such a way that no one could pull up, rude! We set up camp just a few hundred feet away so it wasn’t too bad. The place was busy but it never felt busy due to shrubbery and trees all over. Sites are quite private.
The kayaking in the river was incredible, the river is in a canyon and it lends to gorgeous views.
