This is a really quiet park with lots of trees and the river that flows through. Check in was super easy and we were escorted to our site by Mark. He gave us information on things to do and places to see in the area. We originally reserved a week, but we extended to 10 days. We were able to see different places in the area and also had time to kick back and just relax before we headed out on the road again. We weren't quite ready to leave. The laundry room was the best we had seen at any RV park. $2.50 washer and $2.50 dryer. Very clean and large with a counter to fold your laundry. There were also showers and restrooms. Our site was level. Verizon was between 3-4 bars. Cable available. We would stay again and definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to rest.

Friendly check in and nice shady sites. Clean laundry room.
They offer Good Sam, Military or FMCA discounts.

Close to Black Canyon. Immaculate laundry facility, bathrooms, gardens, and campsites. Choose from shade provided by large cottonwood trees or not. Our site 39 had both so we were able to use Starlink. Peaceful river in our backyard.

However, the pictures in Campendium are definitely old, I believe it once looked that good. Today, the park does not look that good. The green grass between sites is sparse and overrun with weeds, the pond is stagnant and the windmill is broken down, and you can tell they've given up on it. If solitude and quiet is what you want, this park will work. It just isn't that clean and maintained.

Stayed here June 28-29, 2022. First thing they told me was there was no water in the river! They invited us to enjoy the ripe cherries off their trees and we did! We used the laundry which was convenient and clean. Even traded a few books in their trading library. We had lot's of shade so the rig didn't get too hot while we were out site-seeing in Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, which is pretty cool. Nice folks, Good Sam discount, nice place.

This park has everything you could ask for: super friendly staff, dog friendly park, shady trees, beautiful landscaping, obvious investment in upgrades, ample and amazing laundry room, and level pads with a concrete patio. The wifi is strong and the cable tv includes Showtime.

Tall trees, concrete pads with space for our towed vehicle.
The cleanest laundry room and bathrooms we have encountered.
Very friendly and helpful owners.
Could have stayed a lot longer, but the trip was planned, the road was calling.

My big mistake was calling for information the lady was down right rude. The prices are outrageous 750 per month. You can rent a while place to live for 1 person for that price. And it's a campsite but they have age restrictions on it like a Sr living facility. People on a fixed income can't afford to give their whole income just for a place to park a camper to live. Of course I guess if you can't afford a brand new camper you don't need to stay in this camp ground eirher. My sister and son went and saw the place and talked to her in person they said she was extremely rude to them to. And just like me they were just asking questions. On the phone with me she said I suppose you're with those people who were just here I already told them. Guess if you have enough money and don't mind rude that's the place to stay
