I guess this closing date varies year to year. There was a nice creek flowing on the edge of the campground. The other side had the highway right next to it, so pretty loud traffic, but essentially no traffic after dark. The CG is in a nice pine forest, so not much solar. We didn't check out the facilities since we're an RV. There was water and trash cans. We did go and get gas in Ukiah, a couple miles down the road, since there are very few facilities along this highway. No cell service on either Verizon or T-Mobile.

Right on Camas Creek which was very full this time of year, looked more like a small river. Right next to US 395 so could be noisy when the route is busier. There was almost no traffic while we were there.
