Two Mile Run County Park

That is a disgusting place! The woman's restroom had cobwebs all over the place. The manger is a pervert and will walk in even if you are in the shower. Seen it happen 2 times. Dead bugs all over shower walls. There had been a dead mosquito in the middle stall for weeks and I'm sure it's still there! Drains are so clogged they run out of the shower into the dressing part. They never clean it, but they do change the garbage. Spiders are always coming down from the ceiling. It's as nasty as it comes! I've been to 3 other parks and every shower was clean. The manger, Luke, claims there isn't another place like 2 mile and he's right but I wouldn't brag about that dirty place!

The park is larger than most county campgrounds. Many of the facilities are dated, but we’ll maintained. The beach has a lifeguard and there is a $5 fee. Nice lake with good fishing. Good number of hiking trails including horse and mountain bike. New playgrounds throughout the park. The campsites are not the best and tend to be small and irregular. Most are first come first served, so it is easy to get a site just by driving here. The C loop has the largest rv sites with some pull thru sites. Site C2 was very large but un level. The bathhouse was better than average. Verizon coverage is good. We liked it and it is better than it’s first impression.

Even though they will rent some sites to RVs, access is very difficult and sites aren't easy to back into and they are not at all level.

The park itself is very beautiful, in the woods and ferns, and very remote. It is rustic. The campground is hard to find. Definitely arrive before dark.

There is no cell service at all. Bathrooms are pretty far away.
