This park was just fine for an evening or two. It’s conveniently located to shops and some hiking in Ruidoso, and was easy to find, but it didn’t look as nice as some other parks we drove past in the area. This park was just fine for an evening or two. It’s conveniently located to shops and some hiking in Ruidoso, and was easy to find, but it didn’t look as nice as some other parks we drove past in the area. We were put in a back-in spot up against the road, so traffic was a bit loud at night. Our spot was also pretty cramped next to our neighbors, and the cable hookups didn’t work… The employee who tried to help mentioned that some TV brands and model years didn’t work with their cable; ours wasn’t any of these, but it would have been nice to have that information before check-in. We did appreciate the magazine with information about things to do in town that they provided!

The campground was very clean. Would have liked to be in a back in site but was placed in a pull thru site. Trees and shade mostly around except on slide out side due to being the last spot next to road. Sun would shine during hottest part of the day and was pretty hot on that side of RV. Trees and shade mostly around except on slide out side due to being the last spot next to road. Sun would shine during hottest part of the day and was pretty hot on that side of RV. Upper area looks real nice but not sure if those are reserved for longer stays.

I stayed there twice, 2 nights and 3 nights each and will definitely stay there again. It is an older RV Park and it shows, but the location is great and it's fairly quiet. Full hookups plus cable with around 22 channels and halfway decent WiFi. Every now and then they offer meals at their Pavilion. There is also a swimming pool. Dog f... more
I stayed there twice, 2 nights and 3 nights each and will definitely stay there again. It is an older RV Park and it shows, but the location is great and it's fairly quiet. Full hookups plus cable with around 22 channels and halfway decent WiFi. Every now and then they offer meals at their Pavilion. There is also a swimming pool. Dog friendly place, poop bags are available. Deer and Elk in the evening.
