Set in the heart of Organ Pipe. This campground offers 21 day consecutive camping, level camping pads with sitting area, picnic table and BBQ. Steps from the campsite is good hiking and a short drive takes you to some really nice hikes. The campground is very clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are fresh and clean. Several... more

“Out of 79 reviews, we're giving Organ Pipe our first 5 Stars! ”

Reviewed Nov 19, 2016

Overall Rating

Note: We camped here in a tent. Not a surprise given all the other reviews, but we've always been really hesitant about giving 5 stars to a campground -- but this one is really fabulous! The sites are well designed, level, spacious and some have canopies for shade. We stayed in the Tent Only loop and got a beautiful, level site with p... more

I stayed in Organ Pipe in late March and it was a great time of year to visit the Sonoran Desert. The campground was only about 20% full so it was very peaceful. Access was easy. Sites are pull-thru. I stayed in the generator section but solar ended up being all that I needed. Apparently, others found the same thing because I didn't he... more

“Very green desert campground”

Reviewed Mar 09, 2016

Overall Rating

I don't have much to add to what others have said about this womderful campground. We love that there is a non generator section. The sites are all large pull through concrete driveways with a 3 foot wide "patio" so you don't have to step into gravel. The sites are spacious with lots of desert plants. This park offers many great progra... more

This national park is being rediscovered after years of partial closure, and the park staff are trying to catch up by providing a really excellent experience. Sites are concrete and mostly level, surrounded by natural desert plants. All the sites face south, which puts your entry door facing west, so it can get hot in the afternoon as... more

So, we just stayed here longer than any CG thus far on our trip...the fact that it was January, and Organ Pipe was warm certainly played a big part, but so did this awesome park and CG. Sites are thoughtfully designed - enough separation and your own little garden really. Water spigots nearby. Dump station on site. Solar heated showers... more

This campground is fantastic. Although it looks huge on the map, the sites are actually decently spaced and sized. There's plenty to do in the park, and the organ pipe cactus are pretty cool looking!
