Have used this station in previous years when camped around Twin Lakes, it was very convenient.
But checked on 08/28/2020, dump station gated and locked with a “closed” sign. Disappointing.

For $10 more ($20 total), we fill fresh water on our way up to Twin Lakes and dump waste on our way home at Arkansas Rim Campground just north of Buena Vista. Jeff, the owner is a great guy and keeps the place spotlessly clean. There is also a restroom adjacent to the dump station where you can wash your hands when finished.
Alternatively, if you're going north on Hwy 24 from Twin Lakes, the Leadville Sanitation Dept has a fresh water/dump station that is very nice. I think it was $5 to fill fresh water, and $5 to dump waste. It had a nice hydrant to do a good black tank flush, also. It is right off Hwy 24 at the south end of Leadville. It is about 15 miles north of the intersection of Hwy 82 and Hwy 24 (the turn off for Twin Lakes).
Happy camping!

$10 and not a great black tank flush, plus no fresh water. Would only stop here if you absolutely had to empty the black tanks.

“Good location but lacking potable water and trash services”

Leadville (https://www.campendium.com/leadville-rv-dump-station) is the best option IMO.

See this pic, https://www.campendium.com/twin-lakes-rv-dump-station/photos/158176. I couldn't use my hose which has an elbow connector to fit down into the ground. So I had to go another dump station. So 2 stars from me. If you plan to use this dump station, be sure you have a hose that does not have an elbow on the end (do they even make those?)

“Easy Access, Leadville is Cheaper”

This dump station is easy access for those staying in the Twin Lakes area and is located at the Whitestar Campground. There is no potable water and backflushing is not permitted. The second time I drove to Leadville, where it is only $5 and offers potable water.
