How are the bugs? I assume there will be mosquitoes bc it is near water, but how are the ants, no-see-ums, etc?

Bugs? In Colorado? It is not really a conducive climate for those. Ants are rarely a pest. No-see-ums don't exist. Mosquitoes maybe for a couple of weeks in mid-July but only some years. We used to live nearby and kept a door open during the day all summer without issues.

Was there in June and no bugs at all. It dropped to low 30’s at night.

Not real buggy. They had a mayfly hatch a few weeks back but they’re moving along.

We stayed near the part where the water was running/moving so no bugs when we were there. It was a couple of years ago, so hopefully, someone has some updated info.
