Wonderful place with lots of room, lake front views and clear stary nights. This area is managed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife dept. so you Will need a permit ( $12 annually ) and there are a number of other places to use your permit - like the Elephant Mountain wildlife area outside Big Bend NP. ( our next stop ) Mostly dirt if you’re off the pavement so may be muddy when wet, but we found plenty of paved room for our 33’ 5er with a covered table as well. Plenty of solar would probably be unbearably hot in the summer w/ no shade - but hey, just go jump in the lake to cool off !! Can also be Windy in WTexas but we Really enjoyed this location in March - close to town, good cell service and antenna tv — highly recommended.
