Site was clean and well-maintained, as was the road in and out from the highway.

We recently stayed here and it was really quiet and the sites offered good privacy. Beautiful beach and a great sunset. It should be noted that the sites that are lakeside have a steep cliff down to the beach. Not sure if all are that way but the ones I saw were. There was beach access at the amphitheater. The road to the campground from paved H58 is dirt but it was in good condition in July and it had recently rained. My opinion is the campground is best suited for smaller rigs. I wouldn’t recommend a trailer much bigger than 25’. We were able to get our 30’ trailer in our site but it was a bit of a challenge. No cell service with Verizon.

Quiet spot, we were on the water side. We just arrived, set up and walked to the water for the most beautiful sunset. Sight was clean, large and private. The best part is the location. Wish we could have stayed longer, we will be back.

Quiet and peaceful. No services, no hookups, no drama! Sandy campsites and sandy beach access right outside the camper door. Maybe 1 bar of cell but don't remember and didn't care at the time.

My site (22) was huge and backed up to Lake Superior. A 30-yatd walk down a slight decline had me on the beach. All of the sites on the beach side are great but I'd aim for something in the 20s.

Love this campground. All sites on water side of road are right on the bluff overlooking the beach. Easy walk down the dune to the beach. No amenities but that is fine with us

The site was great! We walked to the beach. The only two drawbacks were the biting flies and lack of cell service. There is ZERO service here.

The North Country Trail runs through the campground so we were able to hike a portion of it from our campsite.
Site 15 was listed as soft sand and it was very soft. We have a 4 wheel drive truck and needed it to back our camper up the slight incline of the site. That is the only negative we had in the campground.

Such a beautiful campground. Very private campsites that are set far apart from each other with trees in between. Lake Superior beach access with gorgeous sunsets. Clean vault toilets, no showers. We had no mobile network (AT&T). No hookups at site but did have fire pit. One of the more quiet campgrounds we’ve been to.
