The Tuskegee National Forest does not have a developed campground but there are 14 designated primitive campsites spread throughout the National Forest available on a first-come, first served basis.

It’s great. Grand even. Cell service like nobody’s business and other than a pack of lunatic coyotes in the distance feels safe and secure as can be. Moderate litter. Highway noise can be heard if you listen really hard.

Nearby Auburn is a really hip town.
