“Beautiful private site right on the river”

Overall Rating
We found this perfect spot on the 4th of July! Our spot had two parking spots. We had a good deal of distance and trees between the next site over. The river was about 20 feet from our fire pit with an open walkway down. We sat on the river to read and fish. The river was gorgeous and has a tall hill on the other side with pines and bluffs. Traffic was almost non existent and wasnt a problem. There are two bathrooms on site and one of them smelt really bad. This campground offers privacy and a good view of the river from most sites.

Overall Rating
This is a small campground in the forest along the St Joe River, 10 sites. Sites are well spaced and screened from each other by vegetation. Road through the CG is paved, as are the sites. Looks like some sites could accommodate RV ~30ft. Vault toilet. Access to CG is along good paved 2-lane road 50. No cell service.
