Overall Rating
Just a couple of miles off the main road on a well-maintained caliche road. I never saw it before the BART beetle kill but I thought it was beautiful. Some dead trees, but it opened up the view. Lots of birds hummingbirds saw a doe and a fawn. Stay in spot number 37. 1450 per night Monday through Thursday nights. Double that on weekends. Our spot was very flat and large and had a nice picnic table and a.great fire ring with grill. Very few people.
