Opinion: Troy is a small Idaho town 15 miles east of Moscow. The park layout is unusual. Located on a residential street with older homes on one side of the street and the RV sites on the other side. Very easy access for large rigs. Each site includes full hook-ups and a trash can. None of the sites have shade. Hook-ups are on the street side, your RV entrance door faces toward the nearby paved bike and walking path and open field. Site spacing is excellent. Since all sites are pull-throughs in parallel, you essentially have no neighbors providing privacy. However, sites are positioned a little close to the street, but the traffic seemed light though. There are no restrooms or showers. Gas, diesel and propane are available 1 mile from the Park. Reservations are accepted. 3 fee if you use a credit card. Summer temperatures are 5 to 10 degrees cooler than Moscow and Lewiston. Troy RV Park is ideal for those who like small, simple and affordable.
Tips
Paved bike and walking path runs next to along all the RV sites. The path is a rails to trails project. From the RV park the path runs northeast 4 miles. Going west it extends 14 miles to Moscow and an additional 10 miles to Pullman Washington. Riding either direction is beautiful making the RV park the perfect location to spend a weekend riding.
June through October is the Latah Farmers Market located at the Troy City Park - less than 1 mile. Bike/walking path will take you right to the park.
