Overall Rating
We were looking for remote dispersed camping and this is a little misleading. It's a small camp area with like 4-6 spots for tents pretty much on top of each other group-wise.

LOCATION:
The Trout Creek Recreation Area is located approximately 14 miles northwest of Yampa, along Trout Creek and Forest Road 925 (Rio Blanco CR 90).
DESCRIPTION: Trout Creek offers 4 dispersed sites off a dirt road.
RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES: Stream fishing
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
CAMPING TRAILER USE: This area offers those with a trailer a pull-through to turn around.
FACILITIES & SERVICES:
1 Vault Toilet
No Water
No Trash Services, campers must pack out all trash
FIRE RESTRICTIONS: Please check with the Yampa Ranger Station to find out if there are fire restrictions 970-638-4516
There is a restroom at the campsites. There is no drinking water, trash service or other facilities.
