We had no booking and it was busy but camp host got us spot in overflow which had nice sites too. Only basic long drop there but still good, affordable option.

The campground was very peaceful, relaxing, and exceptionally clean. We would definitely return just for the great views.

These are reserved spots. We got lucky and wandered in and the camp hosts found us a spot but that was a fluke and you’ll want to make reservations. We will definitely be back.

We are taking 3 short months to explore some of the west of our country. Two months in. We got one of the last First Come campsites late this Wednesday morning, and we are so enamored. We wanted to see Mount Hood, and here she is right across the lake. Such awesome photos. The lake is such a happy place, with water lilies where we are, so many people walking the path around the lake, paddling kayaks, fishing and just swimming around next to their campsite. I could stay here a long, long time, I'm in love.

We stayed here in September, 2018 and in looking back was one of our favorites that year! We showed up on a Friday night without a reservation and the camphost suggested an open site - a bit awkward getting in even with a 196 trailer (our truck is long), but we squeezed in and stayed hooked up. Had a nice area in front of our trailer, but our picnic table was behind in a little tent spot. The lake is gorgeous and the view of Mount Hood just stunning! There is a boardwalk along the southern shore - we walked part of it - just fabulous! Cool little fishing pier with amazing view. Great parking area just for campers (if you wanted to drive your gear from your site). Our old Lab loved the little beach. Next time I would research the sites and reserve, but we got lucky and really enjoyed this campground!

Arrived on a very busy July Sunday afternoon, campground signs said FULL, but found the host and they told me that one site had become available, a very nice dry camping spot with only steps to the lake. Good Att cell coverage. Tight spots for larger RV or Trailers, My truck and 19ft Airstream barely fit.

Beautiful and picturesque lake with Mt. Hood in the background. Saw kayakers and small boaters enjoying the quiet lake. There is a boat ramp for campers and a separate day use area ($4.00) with its own boat ramp.
Easy trail loops the lake with wood boardwalks over the boggy areas.
