On the plus side: it was quiet with only a few sites in use. There is a sanitary dump station for campers use.

Nice looking campground with grassy sites and lots of space. Picnic canopies are nice but there is no potable water and the outhouses stink.
Without water this place should be called a wayside rest instead of a campground.

Mid August and only three of us in the park, one seemly long term trailer, and one tent besides ourselves In our 19. Very open Grassy and tree covered sites with electricity, but no potable water. Sites along the Lake are reserved for Lions, Chamber of Commerce, and other prominent community members. However, there isn’t a bad spot here.
The $30 fee for sites with electricity is a bit steep while you can have one without electricity for $10.
Dump station is free for campers, $5 otherwise.
We enjoyed the view of the reservoir and the beautiful grounds. Lots of green grass and mature trees. Each spot had a fire pit, although some showed trash from 4th of July fireworks. Overall the grounds are well kept.
Restrooms were closed as were the shelters, but it was unclear as to why. We assumed it was Covid related, but the pit toilets weren’t exactly appealing from the outside, if any pit toilet can be appealing!
This site is a little off the main travel corridor. The roads were good getting here from the East, better than the interstate.
Allen would stay here again
