ust wrapped up our third stay with this RV resort. Things this winter definitely seem to be a little different. Many of the long-term winter Texans seem to have left for some reason. it had a whole different vibe this year with no one being exceptionally friendly. The office staff was fine, but had the warmth of Walmart cashiers. They only got up from the desk 10’ away from the counter if they had to. The price has gone up every year we’ve stayed, but it’s to the point where we need to reconsider another visit. At $84/ night for a pull through, this made us stop by a couple other RV parks during our visit, so that we can line up another option for next winter. The location of this RV park is great and the Riverwalk is right there. We would love to stay in a back in to save some money but despite what their website says there is no way that it’s big rig friendly with slides out! 30’ or less fits okay in those. They also have a huge issue with bike theft. It’s great that offer a locked bike storage shed, but it’s packed full! So that said, we may return. We may go elsewhere. Really on the fence with this one

The park is a mix of long and short term stays. The location is so great. Bus stop just outside gate for direct downtown bus. Right on Riverwalk trail, but it’s 5 miles walk downtown. Can walk to a few local bars and restaurants. Walmart a close drive away. It is in a lower income neighborhood but we felt totally safe, the park take security seriously. We had no concerns walking around the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this park for your stay in Sam Antonio.

Super clean. Great staff. Very updated. Full of amenities (Laundry, showers, pickleball, pool, hot tub, and more). Plus, it's right on the River Walk path. We biked the missions, and it was lovely.
A number of sites have nice shade trees too. Ours was well covered, which was nice s the temps were 100°+.
Also, we used Lyft a number of times. About $9 form our site to the Alamo. Or, the park is right don't he bus line too.
This park gets our fullest five-star support.

We enjoyed going into the Pearl District- a bit more youthful and modern than the downtown River Walk. Recommend this campground highly- it’s one of the very nicest we’ve ever experienced.

We were looking for a BBQ and the lovely lady at the front desk let us use the BBQ area up by the paddle board court and we had a great evening with the fire pit there.
3 minute drive from Walmart, and directly on the river walk.
A great place!!

We stayed most of the month of March. The sites are gravel with a cement patio. They are close, but not impossibly close because they are angled from the road. The center sites are pull through. The park is in an urban setting. Driving in, one may think the neighborhood is unsafe, but the park is secure. It is also on the bus line to the downtown tourist attractions. Just outside the entrance is access to the San Antonio River Walk. You can walk or bike into town and to various historic Missions along the path.
There is an excellent fitness room, laundry with 8 machines on the CSC network, a library, game area, pool with hot tub and a host of daily activities.
The Park provides two internet offering. The free offering meets most need. There is also a paid offering that provides a more reliable signal.
The neighboring buildings shine their bright security lights into the camp on the west and south side of the camp. They are annoying, but not a showstopper.
The camp does not enforce their rules about leaving barking dogs in campers while their owners are away.

It's been a couple years since our last stay here and a significant investment has obviously been made, in particular at the office. The whole office, lobby, coffee bar, store, lounge, gym, etc., have all been tastefully remodeled. Sites appear to all have refreshed gravel pads. Power at some sites is on the wrong side of the RV, but we were able to reach without an extension. Military veteran discount was appreciated, as was the seamless online reservation and payment process. Location is probably the closest park to Riverwalk/Alamo, and its just a mile from the Mission San Jose, which should not be missed. You'll get a much better idea of what the "Alamo" used to look like.
Pay attention to the directions given via email once you complete the reservation process, as there is an elevated RR track your GPS could tell you to cross; you might make it, you might not. You can see many vehicles have gouged the asphalt on the steep incline to the tracks. There is also what sounds like a Karaoke bar near the entrance that we could hear from the jacuzzi Saturday night; though it was more humorous than annoying. Still no onsite security that we could see, and warnings abound about specific locks that thieves cant cut to steal your bikes; we put our bikes in the RV at night. Staff and campers were friendly and welcoming.

We usually head to federal and state campgrounds, so this was the first time we camped almost downtown. The campground is a nice haven that is very convenient to all the sites of the area. Our site was a little tight, but not bad. Everything worked great, including the wifi. Be sure to use the directions provided by the resort, and NOT your GPS. We were thankful we followed that advice. While using GPS around town, I was really glad not to be pulling our trailer! We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
