“Beautiful Aspen Grove Camping”

Overall Rating

I stayed here November 27 2018 despite the fact that the actual campground was closed. The gate was locked. I just parked outside the gate. It was very level and there was a beautiful sunset. The bathrooms were unlocked and that came in handy. There's a short trail, the Big Al Trail, that leads to a great overlook of the Mancos Canyon. The view is spectacular. There's a lot of Aspen groves that must be incredible when the leaves change in the fall.
