Our family has been camping at Trackrock for over 20 years. Our small group at church started the tradition in the tent area many years ago where our kids all played together, swam, rode on the hayride, played on the playground, or in the game room. The tradition has continued with our sons and our daughter in law (they camp with us each year). All the sites are well maintained and provide the quintessential experience of true camping where beauty is all around. The sites are flat and easy to get your RV parked. Staff are helpful and friendly. It is easy to make reservations. Although we have an RV, sometimes we use the bath house for a roomier shower. The bath houses are clean and well maintained.
Trackrock is nice and secluded, yet close to conveniences. I love to make a stop at The Herb Crib right down the road from Trackrock, or run into Blairsville (about 15 minutes away) to visit Cabin Coffee, The Hole in the Wall, and window shop the cute stores.
After we check in each visit, I go sit on the hill near the blueberry bushes behind the lodge (where I can view both the pond and the horse barn). There, I reconnect with nature, exhale, and let go of all my cares.

This campground has seen betters days. If you have a larger rig, good luck..trees and steeps hills everywhere make getting in and out a pain. Very dark, very quiet

There are permanent residents who have built structures above their RVs and who have satellite dishes and their junk all over their sites. We were assigned a site that supposedly had 50amp service but it did not and we paid an extra $5 a night for 50amp. Internet and cell service were horrible. So many different wifi poles with different wifi network names and they only each worked inconsistently and intermittently so in order to get any service at all, you were changing wifi names over and over again. It was a place to crash and be close to family, which was the point but not a well-maintained place. Check-in only available until 5pm. We were given a site that really was not long enough for us and only later told "well, we don't really know what size can fit in that area so it's good to see you fit there". We really didn't fit there. Cable lines were cut at our site. Cold bathrooms, really tight turns in some of the areas. Too many permanent residents with junky sites, felt like a rundown trailer park

First time here. We stayed in site 58. Sites are a bit close on top of the hill but not a real big deal. Bath house was clean with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff was very friendly. I would agree with the other review that there are permanent residents there. Lake is very nice also.

Beautiful place with nice and friendly staff.
Camp sights are wooded but are pretty close together. Not much privacy
The campers, on the other hand were super loud and obnoxious.
Barking dogs and WILD kids...galore !
I will say that it did get quiet about and hour after quiet time.

I used to love this place. And it certainly is a beautiful place, for sure. However, over the years, I have noticed that more and more of the ‘primo’ spots are being taken up by permanent campers. Now, management denies that there are people that take up residency at Trackrock. But it’s hard to ignore the satellite dishes with their poles buried in the ground, buried cables, permanent stairs/structures with tarps littering these sites, full on work stations being erected, and tacky landscaping that is haphazardly planted around the campers. As stated before, these hovels are taking up the prime spots on the campground that should be enjoyed by vacationing campers. It’s almost impossible to get a space now. Again, management denies that there are permanent campers here. Evidence suggests otherwise. Starting to look icky, Trackrock. Please do something about the folks taking up residency.. you are better than this.

This has quickly become our favorite place to camp. The office staff are so welcoming, they have basic amenities for sale as well. There is a nice big game room with a pool table and tons of board games and puzzles. Came in handy when we were avoiding a sudden summer thunderstorm with driving rain! The game room/ front office also has an amazing covered porch with rocking chairs to look out over the fields and lake. Our son loves the playgrounds, they have two. The swings are big enough for an adult to have a good time too! There is plenty of wide open space to let your dog or kids run loose, and we love swimming and fishing in the stocked lake. The stables have very reasonable rates, though we haven’t taken a trip out with them yet. We love petting the horses. The tent campsites are nice and shaded and each has a fire ring of some sort. The bath facilities are clean and stocked, though sometimes crowded which is to be expected. A note about the noise rating- there was a family having a huge party for two of the nights we stayed. Looked like a reunion of some sort, they had about 10 of the camp sites. They were incredibly loud far past quiet hours. The campsite staff made them get quiet the second night, after many complaints, and the third they didn’t make much noise at all. When we stayed the second time, this wasn’t the case and the camping area is so peaceful. Roll of the dice I suppose. One of my favorite features is the natural spring. You can bring as many bottles as you like and fill them up. It’s so delicious! If you’re in the mood to eat out, town is about 15-20 mins away. In the summer, there is a wonderful farmers market that is worth a visit! All in all, it’s top of our list.
