This is a nice little park with about 4 electric only sites. It is reasonably flat. The sites each have a picnic table. There is a nice park with water features for young kids.

Great location along US-2 if you're traveling the High-line. The town is small enough to be easy to maneuver and not worry about traffic, but still has the services you need such as groceries and fuel. The spots aren't really marked out, but there appear to be three, maybe four spots that have electric. They ask for a donation for the electric. There's also room for one or two to park without a hookup (which we did). There is no water at the site. However there is a threaded faucet on the side of the bathrooms located at the NE corner of the park. A long hose will reach your rig parked on the street there.
I would advise against parking too close to the sand volleyball court. The women of the town play volleyball on Thursday evenings. Very nice and friendly group, but they need their space to play.

This is a nice little city park, with tennis courts, basketball, a playground, volleyball nets, a pavilion -- and three electric posts in the grass with a sign that said something like "only campers and tenting allowed to drive on grass". The sites aren't obviously laid out at all, but presumably you park next to the electric posts and between the trees and picnic tables. I wouldn't want to do it with a really big RV or a sizable trailer, but it would have been fine with a camper van.
No one was camping there when I drove in, but a big party seemed to be setting up in the pavilion nearby. It was early enough in the day that I decided against sticking around, but it's a free campsite with electricity in a park that looked green and appealing and lively. Not peaceful, probably, but I definitely felt like it would be safe. Also, a bargain! If I'd arrived at 5PM, I would definitely have spent the night.
I had Verizon coverage, although I didn't notice the signal strength, but no T-Mobile.
(I drive a Winnebago Travato, use Verizon and T-Mobile, and blog at sarahwynde.com)
