We camped here in November 2021 and saw many big coaches parked there. I suggest camping on the upper level as there are more accommodating sites. Apache Rd which leads to the campground from Apache Junction, is very curvy, with blind turns at some spots, but very doable. Just take your time. Beautiful drive and campground.
