I have such mixed feelings about this site.
Pros: Excellent Verion Signal, Huge site, easy access to the water. Road in is gravel and any vehicle can make it. You can drive around to the day use area and dump trash and use the porta-potty. There are supplies (very expensive) about 6 miles up the main road. Scenery is breath-taking, night sky is stunning.
Cons: This seems to be a hot spot for young hooligans. People come in and dump bags of trash. The rocks are spray painted with graffitti. Nearly every evening of my stay, young people (mostly young men, late teens, early 20's) came barrelling through the site, and took one of the offshoot roads down to the water. They whooped and howled and swore and smashed liquor bottles. At an adjoining site was a man (I believe he is living here) with a Betsy Ross American Flag (13 stars in a circle) that has the second amendment printed on the white stripes. The flag is the size of a queen-size bed sheet and is flying from the bed of his truck. Although he could pull out of his site onto the main road, he takes the back road every day so he can drive through my site on the way out. He never looks up or waves. My final night, two men came through, and parked down by the river. They were drinking and swearing and hollering at the top of their lungs, just to make a ruckus. One man was clearly either very drunk or mentally ill, or both. The younger man left him with a sleeping bag and cooler and took off. The drunk wandered around talking loudly on his cell phone until he finally wore himself out and went to sleep. When I left mid-morning, he was still asleep on the ground.
There is a formal campground up the road a mile or two. It is $7 a night ($3.50 with an America the Beautiful Pass). If I came back, I'd stay there. They have water, trash, and a camp host.

Easy to get to! Few people already here when we arrived but we were able to get. Nice open site all to ourselves and far enough away from the others. Didn’t do too much exploring, just took the first nice spot we saw, but from all the site roads it looks like there’s many more options all over.

Lots and lots of firewood. 1 minute walk to the lake from this particular spot. It did get a little muddy after a small snow fall, but no 4x4 or AWD vehicles necessary. I would think it’s ok for even a Class A to get up this road. Dry camping only. No amenities. Very good cell reception though. 4bars 5G on TMobile. 4bars LTE on Verizon.

Gravel road in off the highway. Several spots on the roadside and a few more if you're comfortable going off road. Some of the small logging roads start out looking good but are probably impassable with a trailer in tow. Sites are just off the water and beautiful pine flats with decayed basalt outcroppings. There was a fair bit of trash around my spot when I got there so will do a bit of clean up.
