Toppings Lake Dispersed Campsite #27

Took 25 minutes with our 22ft Jayco to get from the highway turn off to the top of Site 27 but the view is stunning. If you’re tent/car camping, you should be able to find a spot at this site with no problem. With a trailer you might want to scout up there from the fork in the gravel road before driving to the top of the hill as it’s a bit rough with semi deep troughs (4 wheel drive is your friend) and you may or may not be able to find a spot (do not come up here with a class A or C RV). During our stay dry camping, there was 2 car campers in the immediate drivable area while some others gained access to nearby hills above the site with their tents. Bears roam the area (didn’t see or hear any when we stayed), be cautious and smart. Little to no trees and several human-made paths made it a nice short walk area.
