We have a 37 foot class A motorhome and had plenty of room to maneuver. There is a dump station/potable water at Red Canyon campground 4 miles away (cost $6). There are dumpsters a few miles away at the rest area on the way to Bryce Canyon. We had great cell coverage with Verizon and we could stream videos on Netflix. It was quiet with convenient access to Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon and Highway 12 Scenic Route.

Located in between Bryce Canyon National Park and Red Canyon in the Dixie National Forest. Within a few minutes of both destinations. Endless camping opportunities down this fairly well maintained road. It gets dusty but super easy to find areas suitable for all size rigs to get plenty far enough away from the road to avoid dust. About a mile down the roads the cell signal weakens but there are grassy areas to camp as well. If you’d like more privacy, there are many side roads to venture down (again suitable for all size rigs but definitely scout ahead) and plenty of room!

Big rigs or larger 5th wheels there are not many turn arounds up the roads and the roads get rutted and rocky. Past the cattle guard really is no one camping and no where to turn around. If you stay on the road there are lots of cars blowing by. This place fills up! So if you see a spot grab it.

You can dump (with water) at the Red Canyon Campground for $6.00.

Some sites are super easy to get to for any rig and others are only accessible with truck campers or tents. I stayed about a mile in with my 5th wheel and had NO problems at all...EASY.
Scout ahead and make sure you can fit down the road you want to explore. If it rains the roads can get muddy so use caution. Camp in the trees or open fields.
Keep the area clean so it stays open for years to come.

Easy access, but may be tough if it rained recently. There were plenty of small, intimate spots and bigger ones as well. We found a nice open field for our 3 rigs. The stars at night were spectacular and it was real close to the entrance for Bryce Canyon NP. There is water and dump in the park or at Red Canyon Campground for $5.

Do not camp here if you want to hear anything besides a generator running. I pulled in on a Thursday and by Saturday morning 4 motor homes running contractor grade generators were pulled right up next to me even though there is 1000 square miles of forest around here. I'm in a tent so it took me all day to pack everything back up just to leave and find a real campsite where I can hear birds, the wind in the trees, and my own thoughts without all of that being covered by the sound of a generator. If you can't afford a real camping generator (the quiet ones) then stay home. We don't want you here.

We saw the sign for Toms best spring from Johns Valley rd. We had no cell/internet service so we were a bit confused as how far to drive before we started to see the dispersed camping sites. We did see the actual Toms Spring, as you do have to drive through Hunt creek to get to it.
When we finally obtained cell/internet service we realized we were coming from the opposite direction.
We were able to find a decent site to camp for 1 night. As it was a bit busy.
Those leaving reviews should add a bit more details and direction.
