This is basically just a big open lot right in town. Easy access to all the shops and restaurants and very quiet at night. The guy that owns the lot lives right next door and he was very friendly. $10 for dry camping. We would definitely stay here again. Great cell service with ATT also!

Accidentally found this place and glad we did. A great place to dry camp in historic Tombstone. The host John was fantastic! The people of Tombstone are genuine and nice. We would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t need water or electric. We were able to get water at Ike’s. Our original intention was to spent one night and we are on night 6 thinking about staying longer. The weather here early February has been perfect.
The only complaint was one large camper who ran a loud generator but we were able to move away from them.
Overall a great affordable place in town with room to stretch out.

The dispersed campground is quite large allowing campers a lot of room. The gravel lot is as level as one could hope for in a dry camping area. We arrived on a weeknight so there were only a few campers although it picked up as the weekend approached. The host was very helpful and welcoming. The location was easy access to tour and enjoy Tombstone. On Friday through Sunday there is a small store and market with fresh produce located at the entrance that is very nice and worth a visit. The third Saturday of the month a bull riding competition is scheduled in an area right on the edge of the parking area. We were not here at that time but would have enjoyed watching it. The price was right for parking especially in a tourist area! We would visit again if in the area. It was very quiet with the exception of the last day because our neighbor ran the generator non stop.

This is a dry camping area and is fairly large. Only had 4 campers there when we went. Quiet and close to town, you can walk into all the attractions .i.e OK Corral, Court House, Local Bars, American Legion many restaurants. Very convenient

We had a great time here. This is dispersed camping so no conveniences. The area is pretty level. It has very easy access and is a wide open area. All of the paid rv parks were not only full, but they were very small and cramped. The slide outs were almost touching. We only had a maximum of 7 other people the entire time we were here. We were about 2 blocks walking distance to all of the attractions here. I have favorited this location and would stay again if and when we pass thru on another trip. I spoke with the gentleman who cares for the area and he said we could stay as long as we wanted. There is a little locked drop box with envelopes. We filled out the information on the envelopes, put our money in and dropped in the box. We had heater issues and were able to do the repairs ourselves so long as we didn't leave a mess behind. All in all a nice place filled with history! Verizon internet was great. T-Mobile was highly intermittent.
