Nice park! Nice little lake! There is a 20 site full hook-up campground, and 4 tent sites that are well off the road. There is also a nice laundry room (2 washers, 2 dryers) with showers in the center. There is nice spacing between sites. Tables and fire rings for all.
Pads are a little narrow, Trees all around. Easy come, and easy go.
No recycling, and there are only 2 dumpsters in the whole park.
The lake has a nice pier, boat ramp and is very inviting if you have a canoe or kayak. No swimming, however. Looks like there is decent fishing.
No internet, not much cell service.

We stayed just one night here and will definitely be back. Toyota has evidently poured some money into the park. New bathrooms, lots of pavilions and cabins, all redone. Playground, lake and disc golf. The tent sites are very cool with swing bench and a platform to pitch your tent on.

Just 2 short nature loops but easy to link them into the other trails. Be careful though, we warned you could get lost on the bike trails, and we did get a bit muddled.
Wash house was clean. The usual SP type. Laundry facilities were handy.
No recycling for any trash.
Weak ATT at our site but good by the wash house.

We spent the night while visiting friends in Tupelo. It is a small campground. Our site would have been kinda close if we had had any neighbors but it was very level. The bath house was close and was clean.

This is a small campground with just 20 sites. They are close together around an oval. The bathroom/shower/laundry were in a fairly new building. I had to take a shower and it left a lot to be desired. Water spray was bad. No curtain so dry things got wet. Only one hook to hang things up. The upside is its closeness to Tupelo.

This is a nice well kept park. There are only 20 sites, so I’m guessing weekends you may want a reservation. Most have full hookups. There is a bathroom with 2 washer and dryers. Mountain bike trails in the park, a lake, among other things to do. $28 per night plus tax.

There were lots of areas for kids to play, including a large playground, a baseball/kickball field and hiking/biking trails.
One big problem, however, was the location of trash dumpsters and cans. There were NO TRASH CANS in the camping area, and the few that were somewhat nearby had signs saying to take your trash to the end of the park road, which was a mile away. This was a problem because we had already hooked up our RV and couldn’t jump in and run the trash that far. Needless to say, whoever maintains the park is being a little lazy and doesn’t want to bother handling trash. Other than that, it was a fairly well maintained park.

We arrived on 12/30/20 for a three day reservation and were shocked to find the bathouse was in terrible shape - dirty, strewn with soiled clothing, food trash and cigarette butts in the sink and urinal. Not acceptable- especially during covid19. We found a maintenance staff person and reported the situation. He said he was the only one on duty and couldn't help; everyone else was off. There was no one in the ranger station. We left a phone message, but got no call back. We called the reservation system line, but they said they couldn't help us. This is very unlike our experiences with other Mississippi state parks, which have been excellent. We're still wondering what the problem was, but bottom line is that we left to find another campground.

This was our second stay at this campground. The first time was in May of this year at the beginning of our 6 month journey and it seemed fitting to visit again on our return home. The park is older and a bit worn but well cared for. As with our first visit the park rangers were very helpful and friendly. As has been mentioned previously it is an out of the way location but that is one of the things that we enjoy. We did not make use of the trails this time as it was very wet and rainy but we did enjoy the trails when we were here in May. Verizon Service was adequate for texting and phone but that was fine with us as well. Excellent little campground for getting away from the noise for a while.

And lost my money for 07/10/19 until 07/11/19 because I wasn't going to stay there that hot for another day. Hope y'all enjoy it because I won't be guilty of staying there again 😠😠😠😠....
