This is just a really cute RV park along the banks of the Mississippi. We snagged the one and only back-in site that is down in the waterfront loop, although that wasn't hard as there was plenty of availability on the Friday in January that we visited. The folks running the park were unbelievably kind and made us feel very welcome. We were able to get an Uber from the RV park to Beale St for around $15.
The free laundry is even better than we could've imagined. There is a little building out in the center of the riverside loop that had two nearly brand new washers and matching dryers.
The passing river cargo traffic can be either a noisy nuisance or a fun bonus, depending on your outlook.

Stayed one night. Unisex bath/shower rooms were dated, but clean and private. Had a spot right by the Mississippi River. Temperature dropped below freezing but the bath/shower room was nice and toasty. Would like to see what it looks like in the summer.

I can see why so many others rated this as a 5-star park. It's right on the Arkansas river, spacious sites, quality hookups, free laundry, usable wifi and friendly stay, all for $35 per night. Fun to watch the ships pass on the river from your campsite. Not many downsides to this campground, although I suppose if you're expecting to swim (you can't here) don't like the sound of passing trains (you can hear them) or are overly concerned about mucky smells from the river you might think twice about staying here, but in all honesty the good VASTLY outweighs the bad.
Our site (51) was a pullthrough and it looks like only a handful of the sites aren't, so really each to get in and out of. Picnic table and tree at each site. Our pad was slightly uneven (used leveling blocks to compensate) but we could have easily done without.
This park makes a point to tell people that they are occasionally flooded due to proximity to the river and ask that you call ahead of time to make sure they are open. Typically flooding happens in the spring, and since we were here in December it wasn't a concern for us.
The best thing about this park is views... most, if not all sites, have a clear view of the river and you can walk to it within 30 seconds to 1 minutes from any campsite. Lots of benches along the river to site and watch the boats go by (which my son loved) or just enjoy the scenery. We will definitely be back!

Folks that run the place are all very friendly and a bag of ice is only $1. No gouging here! I could sit and watch the barges all day and night!

FREE laundry was a bonus. Wifi worked well most of the time (although the park was only 10% full). OTA television worked fine. No playgrounds for kids. The river is the real attraction. We would stay here again, definitely. NOTE: This campground does flood on occasion and closes until things dry out. That is because it is located between the levee and the river. So if you are in doubt about the Mississippi's water level, I would call the campground to make sure they are open. Their restrooms and office are on wheels so they can be moved to higher ground!

Everything here worked great at the site, we did not use the laundry or any facilities, but the park was quiet and provided a great view of the river.
The provided wifi worked incredibly well with my external antenna, but I was also getting good signal inside the Airstream (which is unusual) directly to my phone and laptop. We used their Comcast internet for work and entertainment all week without any issues at all, and regularly pulled 20+/20+ on speedtest.net.

This is the perfect water front park with amazing views of the Mississippi River and the many barges that travel the river. Several sites sit with full river view. Sites are long pull thru gravel or concrete. While the sites are fairly close together, the angle of the sites gives each a larger area for sitting outside in the front of the RV. The park says they have WiFi but we couldn't get it to work. The laundry is free and has five washers and six dryers. The office personel are very friendly and accommodating. We were provided with tourist information and coupons for Memphis. You are guided to your site. There is a newer area that was developed for fifth wheels that have you pulling in with the rear window facing the river for the view. The park does flood. Their website posts the river's rise, as does a sign outside the office, and will evacuate before the river reaches flood stage. There are train tracks near but there are very few trains and they didn't disturb us at all.

Being here in February, there weren't many other campers in the area. Laundry is FREE - we definitely took advantage of that. You might hear the barges at night, and you'll definitely hear the train, but it was only once per night.
The drive out there can feel sketchy if its your first time visiting the city, but don't let it concern you. Since we visit Memphis frequently, we are kind of used to it. We've never met nicer people than in Memphis, and we love the city. The site was safe and the owners are friendly.
Wifi signal would drop every so often. But, we only used it in the evenings. We got quite a few television channels with the digital signal. The site is pet friendly, and there's a lot of area to walk your dog around. They even told us to bring our dog into their office, where they had dog biscuits for their canine guests.
Enjoy the Mississippi! If you're going into Memphis and love barbecue, check out Marlowe's restaurant near Graceland.

We arrived running from a major storm so everything was flooded in the C/G. Wind, standing water and we were glad to be where we were. Lots of barge traffic even in bad rain. I'm sure this is a fun place to be when the weather is nice. Neighbors had been here for a week and they couldn't say enough about the place.
