Yes. And don’t dare arrive before the check in time. They are very strict about this. Lovely place we enjoy very much.

For the campsites, yes. They have a 10 day in advance policy. Sites 2-17 are all loops. We loved site 3, with our 28ft trailer, as the picnic space was large. There are a few loops that were larger which might handle a 35ft trailer nicely. Entrance to the river was between site 8-9. The middle of the campground is a large open grass area... We did Frisbee there, but all families were all doing different things. On the far side of the park, away from the campgrounds, there is a good set of kid toys to climb on. The dog park is part of the city but is adjacent to Tolt MacDonald (5m walk). We loved this campground. Would recommend! Yes, all sites are on a pre-reserved basis. No first come sites. During our recent stay multiple sites were never occupied by whomever reserved them. Didn't bother to contact King County to cancel the reservation. This is a huge disservice to others as it really limits people from getting a reservation and enjoying this great park.
