We just got a roof top tent and this was the first time using it. Sites are all fairly small Might be 2 or 3 sites large enough for a small trailer. Camp host said they fill up most everyday during the summer. Pit toilets were clean as was the campground
Grovester would stay here again

Our 1-2 stars rating is due to the CG design doesn't accommodate a majority of trailer camping.
It would get 5 stars if it was a Boyscoup tent camp area.

This is a hidden gem that is close to the Portland metro for those that do not want to drive far. Zigzag creek runs along most of the sites. The sites themselves are pretty decent and most are separated nicely. There is water and pit toilets. This is a great base camp for the many recreational opportunities on Mt. Hood.

NOTE - Vehicle length limitation: 16 ft. max.
FS Campground tucked in the wood.
Great location for mountain bikers who are riding the Timberline to Town Trail (T2T) as you would finish close at your camp after shuttling to the top of the mountain. :)
